Requesting a Student Operator

Please Note: A minimum notice of two business days is needed in order to book an operator. The more time we have, the better the chances of filling a request.


To Book a Student Projectionist:

Faculty wishing to request a Student Projectionist to show videos and films in the classroom please contact Cheryl Petrie (ext. 84070) or Rosemary Chase (ext. 36964) in Media Resources (MC-1052). There is no charge for the use of student operators for projection work for classes. If a film or video is booked with Media Resources the student projectionist will bring the film to the class, unless otherwise arranged. Projectionists are trained in full use of the podiums in E-Classrooms. If instructors need further instruction operating the E-Classroom podium equipment apart from showing videos, it is best to contact our Technical Support Staff for further training and assistance.

To Book a Camera Operator:

Camera Operators can be requested by Staff and Faculty for academic-related video production. To arrange for video production and to book an operator please contact our Production Studio (ext. 36784).
