UW lists employees earning more than $100,000 annually

WATERLOO, Ont. -- The University of Waterloo today issued the list of its employees who were paid more than $100,000 in 1997.

The list contains the names of 90 people at UW including senior administrators, deans and professors, each of whom has many years of experience in university teaching and research.

With some 2,250 full-time staff and faculty and about 22,220 full- and part-time students, the University of Waterloo is the fourth largest university in Ontario and the biggest employer in Waterloo Region. UW has annual operating expenditures of about $270 million.
