Textbooks and supplies are available from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday unless otherwise posted.
"BookLook" is a handy computerized guide to available course textbooks. BookLook can be accessed through UW Info via the Internet or any of the on-campus information terminals located in the libraries and bookstore. A hard copy of the "book list" is also available in the OPD.

The CSE provides a unique array of comprehensive clinical services for the partially sighted.
Its low vision services include assessment, prescription, instruction and/or rehabilitation, and counselling. The Centre is located in the Optometry Building, telephone (519) 888-4708.

Computer-based programs are available with large print capabilities for people with low vision.

The Disability Resource Centre is located in the Office for Persons with Disabilities (OPD).
The Centre has a good collection of current information on a wide variety of disability-related issues.
Materials such as journals, books, videos and audio tapes are also available.

There are many places to eat on campus. Cafeterias, dining halls, cafes and food courts provide students with a wide range of cuisine choices.
During the evening hours, students can purchase light snacks from the many vending machines located throughout the campus.
Food Services operate many of the cafeterias on campus.
The WATCARD program offers further ease and flexibility. As part of the program, students receive a debit card with which they can purchase food from any on-campus cafeteria including the Village residence cafeterias.
Most vending machines have also been equipped to accept WATCARDs. The WATCARD, however, is not honoured at any of the Coffee and Doughnut shops (C&Ds), the University Club, Affiliated College cafeterias or the Grad House.

Persons with a physical disability wishing to park in the designated accessible spaces on campus must purchase a special parking permit from the University Police Office (Commissary Building).
Drivers will be asked to provide documentation regarding their disability (e.g., designated licence or doctor's certificate) to obtain the permit. Reserved spaces are available in the following locations:
