Scholarships and Bursaries

There are a number of additional scholarships and bursaries available that are not specifically for students with disabilities.

We encourage students to investigate these other sources of funding.

University of Waterloo Student Awards Office provides information on covering your academic costs, including scholarships, awards, bursaries, the Work/Study Plan, and government assistance such as OSAP

Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada administers more than 150 scholarship programs on behalf of the federal government, domestic and foreign agencies and private sector companies

studentawards.com a Canadian scholarship search service devoted to helping high school, college and university students find information on scholarships, bursaries, grants, and other forms of financial assistance available from the private sector and not-for-profit organizations

Waterloo Regional District School Board lists community, regional, provincial and national scholarships, bursaries and awards

Toronto Rehabilitation Scholarship supports the education and training of masters and doctoral students with disabilities who are studying in a rehabilitation-related field and intend on contributing to rehabilitation science as researchers.
