Struggling with school, personal or health issues?

The Student Success Office can help you achieve academic success, set practical goals and more. The Writing Centre and many experience-based programs are available here as well.

Counselling Services can provide you with individual counselling and the Faculty of Environment has an in-house counsellor, Marilyn Perdue. Her office number is EV1-219. You can arrange an appointment with Marilyn or one of the other counsellors in Needles Hall (NH) by either calling ext. 32655 or in person by visiting NH, room 2068.

Study Skills are also available through Counselling Services on a variety of topics such as: Learning and Remembering, Time Management, Listening and Note-Taking, Reading, Concentration and Distraction, Preparing for Exams, Cramming, Writing Exams, Sleep.

Workshops are also offered through Counselling Services on areas such as: Managing Anxiety and Panic, Stress Reduction, Procrastination, Stress Management, Study and Writing Skills, Preparing for and Writing Exams, Re-claiming Your Self.

If you are experiencing financial pressure, you may be eligible to apply for a bursary. For more information, visit the Student Awards office.

If you are concerned about your writing skills, the English Language Proficiency Program can help you with the necessary writing skills for academic success.

Co-op Education and Career Services can also provide a list of jobs (summer, part-time, work placement, volunteer, etc.) which are available to regular-stream students.

Health Services provides on-site family physicians for all registered students, which includes urgent care and walk-in care.
