These reports are undertaken as part of course work and are subject to the, sometimes, severe time limitations that this entails. In particular, ERS 285 projects are done in a single term (12 weeks) and often students have only 3 weeks for data collection. Thus the findings from these studies should be considered as a snapshot of the goings on, on campus. Gaps may exist, technical details may not be complete.
Readers must understand that these reports may not reflect the current status of activities at UW. We urge you to contact the resource persons mentioned in a report, or Patti Cook about the current status of the subject matter of a report. Notwithstanding this, the insight and experience provided by this body of student work has been very useful to the university community and has led to a number of improvements in UW operations.
