System Diagram: Environmental Information System Found at Ron Eydt Village
The system to be studied is what environmental information presently flows from the University specifically to students of Ron Eydt Village, who provides the information and how knowledgeable students are about the identified issues. The issues selected have been proven through past ERS 285 studies to be current issues on campus.
Some of the various actors as shown in the system diagram, are involved in various issues identified and is shown clearly. The green boxes around energy and water conservation show that no information is presently provided to students on these issues. The dashed arrow from Chris Dodd and Dons to Waste and Recycling show that there are tentative plans to provide students with this information in a future booklet to be given to students. The output of this system is student knowledge.
