Abstract

A study to compare the recycling programs in Village 1 and the Church Colleges was undertaken in winter 1991. It concluded that custodial staff were needed to maintain continuity of the program, Blue boxes were needed in strategic locations, and time and education was needed. The study recomendations included; the requirement of a structural framework for recycling, the Federation of Students helping out on the education side, the city of Waterloo providing an information seminar, and a constructive workshop for custodial staff, to better integrate recycling practices.
